STUDENT COUNCIL
The names of the four houses are chosen from HOSTORIC WARRIORS who were the great legends of their time ruling the world and are remembered forever from time to time.
Each house has one Captain and one Vice-Captain. The student council is constituted with senate members designated as Head boy, Head girl, Sports Captain, Sports Vice Captain, Cultural Secretary, Four House Captains, Four House Vice Captains and Class Prefects from all the Grades & Sections. The council is honoured with sashes and badges, it is usually changed in JUNE each year on Investiture Ceremony.
The Apple School House System aims to foster a sense of belonging, diversity and inclusion, reflecting the ethos of the school. This is one of the best systems for student engagement, life skill development and achieving desirable outcomes in scholastic as well as co-scholastic areas. It inculcates a sense of healthy competition among students.
The House System engages all students and staff, empowering them to feel safe, positive and included on all levels through an inter-house community with ownership and leadership. Students are provided with opportunities to lead, build friendship and develop a strong identity as they pledge allegiance to their houses throughout their participation in a wide variety of competitions, events and activities. These initiatives address all individuals’ grit and determination to take on personal and team challenges, embracing a diverse culture across the school.
